The building used to be a Youth Club operated by Surrey County Council. Through the generosity of Sir Ray Tindle it was acquired by Farnham Town Council who leased it to a Management Committee made up of local people who saw the need for an active Community Centre in Wrecclesham. It is a registered charity.

In 2014, with the help of grants from the SITA Trust, the Veolia Environmental Trust, Surrey County Council, Waverley Borough Council. Farnham Town Council, the Farnham Institute and the Isabella Schroder Trust, extensive redevelopment and refurbishment has taken place making it an attractive and user-friendly facility for the whole community.
